The apartment option from Hotel Dali was a great choice for my vacation in Florence. Marco of Hotel Dali offered the apt as a long-term accommodation for me and my travelling companion. The facilities were well-equipped and we loved the autonomy. We could come and go as we pleased and yet we were in communication with Marco at the Hotel whenever we needed to be, since the Hotel Dali was a 5 minute walk from our apt. Wi-fi was available at the Hotel only; however, even standing outside on the street with the view of the Duomo in the background, I could always access the internet. Marco was very helpful when we were booking daytrips around Tuscany. In all, Marco's pleasant manner just added to the fantastic holiday in Florence.

My family and I (2 adults and 2 children aged 8) stayed at the Hotel Dali in November 2011 for 3 nights. We were very happy with the accommodations. Hotel Dali is a great location for seeing all the sights in Florence and is walking distance to the train station.

Traveling to Italy with 4 persons can be cumbersome. Most hotels have maximum occupancy per room. Finding a Quad room can be difficulty and expensive. Marco and Samantha, however, have a great family room. It was basic and clean. The room had 1 queen size bed with two single beds on each side of it. Out the window, was a small courtyard with pretty buildings and pomegranate trees. The bathroom was quite small, but adequate. The hotel has free Wi-Fi.

The main attributes of the Hotel Dali are the location and the helpful staff. Marco, Samantha and all the night staff were very accommodating. Marco can help you with restaurant, sightseeing, and gelato recommendations. He is a wonderful host. Marco made our reservations to the Uffizi and the Accademia museum. He will even make you a quick espresso before heading out in the morning.

Of course the location makes the place…the Duomo is 2 blocks away. Ponte Vecchio 5-10 minutes away. Michelangelo plaza 20 minutes walk. The train station is a 15-minute walk (even our 8 year olds could pull their own suitcases from the station without any complaints---you can, too!). We made a day trip to cinque terre with ease. The area is full of cafes/restaurants and there are multiple super markets about 5-10 minutes walk.

Overall, we would highly recommend it to travelers looking for a clean, no frills hotel, to explore Florence. Thanks Marco!

We stayed in Florence for two nights at The Hotel Dali and were not disappointed.
The owner, Marco, was a pleasant, helpful host who spoke English well.
The room with ensuite bath was clean and quiet.
This location is superb for seeing all the sites within a few minutes walking distance.
The cost was a bargain for Florence since everything else seemed fairly expensive. And, free parking! What a bonus!

Loved the hotel and Marco,s hospitality we stayed only one night but will definitely go back again . The room was much larger than we expected as well thanks Marco
