Although we had booked a room with twin beds and private bathroom, the day we arrived the manager told us that he only had a room with a shared bathroom. We had to leave our luggage there and started searching for a hotel room with private bathroom. After an adventure of 2 hours wandering around tired, we went to the hotel booking office at the railway station. We were lucky they found a room for us at the last minute. Totally unforgivable, avoid this hotel like the plague.
We took our revenge by "stealing" their wi-fi internet connection from the road beneath.

Very disappointing. The crankiest, rudest, moodiest hotel manager (or was he just the desk clerk? He certainly acted as though he was very important) we encountered in our 3 month stretch of travel which was our European honeymoon. Became very nasty when we were hesitant to leave our passports at the desk for the day and when we arranged to come down with them for him to take down our details he was 'too busy' three times when we came in the timeframe he asked. Gave us absolutely no information about the area or even about the hotel itself (found out there was wireless on the first floor on our last day), chastised us for being extremely early (about 45 mins) when all we wanted was to drop off our bags so we wouldnt have to lug them around the city. Our room was one of a couple of rooms with absolutely no markings or numbers to indicate them and had to be found by trial and error with the keys. In the middle of the night someone opened the door by mistake and terrified my wife. The bathroom was not clean and the extractor fan made a noise like a tractor starting up, meaning that to use the toilet at night without waking up every other guest in the hotel we had to make our way in the dark. Breakfast was also quite yucky - all dry prepackaged foods and sugary cordial in place of juice as well as a broken coffee machine in a tiny little windowless corridor style room which was lit up with fluorescent lights so that it felt like a hospital. We tried everything during our stay to be friendly and understanding, assuming he was having a bad day when we arrived. Simply a rude staff member for a very ordinary and underwhelming hotel that needed a good clean. Florence is lovely but stay somewhere other than this hotel.

Hotel Regina has a great location, walkable distance to majority attractions, and loads of restaurants downstairs in the square. the room was generally good and clean, however the reciptionist totally ruin the stay. I will only recommend Hotel Regina for those one who can take "take your thing and go" from the receiptionist.

It´s horrible. We had booked three rooms with private bathroom and we found one of the room didn´t have bathroom inside. The solution the reception gave us was using a bathroom in the corridor. (shared bathroom). The lounge for breakfast is tiny. It only has capacity for nine people, so the managers hurry you up in order other people can have breakfast too. The worst, you have the shower over the floor, I mean, there isn´t ceramic plate where water can fall. The consequence all the bathroom is flooded with the water of your shower because the drainage in the floor is too small. Finally, last day we had to have a "cold shower", there wasn´t hot water.
And careful, HOTEL REGINA AND LA NOCE ARE THE SAME.
