We found this hotel a perfect base for exploring Florence, it's a couple minutes walk from the station and easy walking distance to all the major sights. The breakfast was basic but perfectly fine and the room was big with amazing air conditioning. The staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke perfect english. The only negative is the size of the shower. Luckily we're both pretty slim but it would be an issue if we were larger. Overall it's a good value for money hotel in a great location.

Booked through booking website months in advance paid only to find out when we arrived they were overbooked!! They were so nice in booking us a room at a hotel that was rated 415 out of 450 hotels in Florence the hotel smelled of rotten sewer.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel Lombardi.we are happy that we chose this one and make our experience in Florence a lovely one. Their staff are very friendly and helpful. I like the gentlemen with white beard. He is very like our grandpa:)
They provide simple breakfast and the service is good. The only thing is the shower place is small. Americans may find it hard to take shower inside.
The last night was a bit unpleasant though because of the noise from the street. Seems there is a coach loading bay behind. They are close to train station and bus station SITA. If u are going for shopping to the mall. The bus station is nearby.

Stayed there for 3 nights in May - excellent location, very friendly staff and owner. Rooms were of a good size, simple, and always very clean. Good if simple breakfast. Hotel offers excellent recommendations for dining and makes reservations to the major museums.

I will be back!
