We came to Florence from Rapallo. The moment we entered the city, we did not like it at all. Sea and sun, was the thing that we were missing. But since it was late and we already checked in at the hotel, we decided to stay.
The hotel is not located in the heart of Florence, although it is in a walking distance from the train station and 10-15 min walk from Duomo.
We parked our car right next to the hotel and got a very nice suprise the next morning when our car radio got stolen. We did want to stay in Florence one more night as we were missing the Riviera.
The hotel in its self seemed to be dead, and nothing in comparison to Hotel Gulio Cesar in Rapallo. It had airconditionning, which started working after a night, the bathroom was miserably small, there was no view from the room what so ever and the reception was not really helpful. We asked for internet connection, but apparantly it only worked in the reception.
In overall, a miserable stay. The service staff in the breakfast buffet was however nice and welcoming.
If you go there with a car, watch out to not leave anything in there.
