The location of this hotel is amazing. All shops, touristic area are near the hotel. However, the quality of the breakfast and the room is lower than basic, and wiifi does not work except hotel lobby.

We had a lovely room. Only negative about room was the sofabed. It was a bit uncomfortable, but didn't take away from the enjoyment of stay. Travelling with mum and cousin. Staff was excellent very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated right around the corner from pretty much any shopping you care to do and also most places of interest is very easy to reach. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Just got back from a very enjoyable weekend in Florence staying at the Strozzi Palace Hotel. Great Location, only 10 mins slow walk from the Station on your arrival, and within 5 mins of the Duomo and Piazza Repubblica. Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi are a further 5 mins walk away. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel facilities were exactly as advertised. we didnt eat Breakfast in the Hotel because we wanted to be out sight seeing early but the Buffet looked very nice. Only minor gripe was that our room faced onto the main street of Via de' Vecchietti which was pretty noisy particularly on Saturday night so in future would request a room at the rear of the Hotel....but otherwise no grumbles at all......very very nice and great value !

This hotel is the heart of the city and you can walk to everything. The staff is friendly and the room was large by European standards. The room was clean, beds were ok. The lift is small and very slow, but too many stairs to walk up 4 floors. The room was too hot (75) and air conditioner was not working. We opened the windows at night and woke up in the morning with mosquito bites. The bathroom had a very strong bleach smell. The breakfast was minimal at best. For me, I would rate this hotel a 3 star.
