Recently stayed for 4 nights, my husband and I and 2 teenage boys.
We had a suite with a river view and balcony which was so fantastic we found it hard to leave.
Great to have a small kitchen to cook some pasta at the end of the day looking over the river and Ponte Vecchio.
The service in the rooms was excellent with towels changed more than once daily and a phone call each evening to ask what else we might need.
Very easy to drop in and out while shopping and leave the boys to hang out while we continued on!
You really couldn't do better.

Wow the bed was hard! And we like hard mattresses! Otherwise loved this property with beautiful room/apartments. Would prefer higher floor as we did hear street noise on first level but since our stay was only 2 nights, we didn't ask to move. Bathrooms were quite lovely and decor within unit was beautiful.

Stay there only if you need a bed. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and thats all.
The staff is terrible - from housekeepers to concierge.
Housekeeper don't fill and replace bath products (paper towel, soap, ...).
I sent an email 45 days before heading to Firenze asking for some advice, they just answer me back 1 month latter, after i have sent 2 more emails complaining about it.
Check out was a nightmare. I prepaid my entire stay and they just said that the amount i paid wasn't enough to cover my expenses ... I received a bill that couldn't explain what was the charges about.
They start making up that the amount was "maybe for this or maybe for that", when they realized that it wasn't making any sense ... they start accusing me to have stayed an extra night (the amount charged was less than 1 night rate)... can you believe it?! I've never seen something like this before.
The inconvenient and unorganized staff brought me a lot of trouble during my holidays. Doesn't worth a 2nd chance.
I'll never comeback.

You just couldn't find a better location in Florence than the Lungarno Suites which sits directly at the base of the Ponte Vecchio Bridge on the side of the river where the Uffizi Museum is located. The rooms are spacious with a sitting area and small kitchen. A perfect place for stopping in throughout the day between museums. The decor is sophisticated and contemporary and the hotel is spotless. Our rate included a wonderful breakfast buffet at the Gallery Hotel (same ownership) which was well worth the extra price! Hands down this is the place to stay in Florence! We stayed in the room with two adults and two teenagers (on a pull out sofa). While it was a bit tight, it was very workable since we didn't spend much time in the room.
