first of all, if you're handicapped or elderly, this place is not for you. The reception desk for this hotel (there are a number of albergo in this building) is up four flights of stairs. The room in Anna's was adequate (not pretty at all and super small) but INCREDIBLY noisy. EVERY street in Florence is a busy one, so right outside of our window, we could hear drunk American college kids all night and street cleaners beginning at dawn. I stumbled downstairs and asked wonderful Chiara at the desk to please move us. she kindly did, to a room in Hotel Azzi which is located on the first floor of the building. This room was VERY out-dated but comfortable and, more importantly quiet. Azzi serves a good breakfast...BUT, it's at an additional cost and I don't think it's worth it. Florence is the type of city that will draw you out of room, but it's also incredibly romantic and you want that romance to follow you to your room at night. We saw tons of small hotels that looked much more quaint and cute than any of those offered at the building in which Anna's and Azzi are located. Try those first cause at approximately $150 a night, this is NOT a good value.
Room Tip: Just don't stay here
