Location is great, a short walk to the Duomo of Firenze, and less than 5min walk from the railway station.
Stayed in one night, rooms are clean and furnished in Renaissance style.
Staff is really kind and speak good english (not always granted in Italy)
Breakfast was not a real buffet, but enough to start well the day.

My Sister and I stayed at Delle Tele in November of 2010 and will be staying there again in 2012. This 3-star (should be 3.5 stars) hotel is in a fantastically central location on Via Panzani. If you fly into Firenze, you are a short cab ride away and Santa Maria Novella train station is a short several minute walk from the Hotel. From a "visiting the sights" perspective, you will be in the middle of everything! When you take a left out of the hotel onto Via Panzani, after about a block, the breathtaking SANTA MARIA DEL FIORE (Duomo) will come into view...jackpot! My hotel room was comfortable and well appointed. You will have the option of using a staircase to the 3rd floor or take a few stairs to a small elevator. Breakfast is simple and does the trick. The staff is friendly, very helpful, courteous and happy (Charlie, Paolo & Vincenzo). If you would like to get a bang for your buck (euro) at a comfortable, clean and well-located hotel, then look no further than Delle Tele. A few restaurant suggestions: 1) for a delicious panini: NOE (Archway on Volta di San Piero near the main Post Office); 2) for lunch or dinner near Santa Croce: Osteria de Benci (Via de' Benci 11/13r; 3) for lunch or dinner near Delle Tele: IL PORCOSPINO (Madonna degli Aldobrandini 11/12r) Ask for Franco (a Texas loving Italian gentleman)! 4) for wine & small plates across the Ponte Vecchio (from the city center): Le Volpi e L'Uva (Piazza dei Rossi, 1). Enjoy!!

I totally enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. As far as location, the hotel is in the touristic area of Florence within walking distance to all.

We stayed for a few days and loved it. Great safe location to walk to many things. Big rooms, good size bathrooms, clean everything. Vincent and his staff are very helpful. Comfy bed. Quiet. A/C works good. Great breakfast and coffee or cocktail or vino if you wish in parlor room or to your room. Close to train station. Classic old style room key. Seriously stop searching and stay here as it delivers on price and more.
