Old building and they make three hotels one next to other. For breakfast you must go to the next hotel from stairs inside. At the room, carpets are old and not clean. Air condition works for cold air on warm. At the bathroom is missing one door. Nothing to see from the windows. Location of the hotel is very good.

Location was great, just 5 mins walk to the train station. Breakfast with variety choice...
unstable WI-FI (we cannot log in after 23:00), 1 of the staff (woman who tight up all her hair with glasses) on duty in the morning is very rude (i know she is very busy, however, it is not the excuse to serve her client) But, another man and woman is very helpful & nice.

When we first checked in, we were delighted to receive a room on the top floor that had a fantastically huge balcony that wrapped around the corner of the building, affording a view of the Duomo AND the Tuscan hillside. However, the room always had a smell reminiscent of a sewer (or someone cooking a LOT of cabbage!). Because the room could get quite warm with its sunny exposure and the outside temperatures we were blessed with that week, we usually kept the room closed up with the A/C cranking. This made the smell VERY noticeable when first entering the room. Eventually, we would become accustomed to the odor and not notice it, but it always smacked you in the face the first time you would open that door!

Additionally, we had to trek what seemed like 1/4 mile to the connecting hotel to get breakfast in the morning. I don't mind walking, and the breakfast room was quite pleasant, but I sometimes felt like we had dropped down the rabbit hole just to get there!
