Great Location, 2/3 minutes in walking distance to the trains station, 5 minutes in walking distance to the Duomo.

Unfortunately, the rooms and the bathroom are a little bit old. A place just to sleep when visiting the town just for a few days.

There is a restaurant on the next door if you don't want to take a long walk to have dinner.

Last autumn me and my partner spent three nights in Balcony hotel. It is a small budget hotel with great location - very central and quiet in the night.
The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
I strongly recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to spend nice time in the heart of the city and on a reasonable price.

We caught the train and walked easily with our back packs to Hotel Balcony. We had to walk up a few stairs to our room at the back of the Hotel, but it was quite. we had the air conditioner on all night because we didn't have a window only twin doors. Breakfast was continental. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked questions in English. The Balcony was a cool place to sit in the late afternoon/early evening.

We found this hotel a brilliant find for our two night stay in Florence. The location could not be more central and the balcony has an amazing view. I thought it would be noisy because of its location but it was actually quite quiet. The rooms were of a good size and very clean and all reception staff were helpful with good english. The only thing that we thought could be improved is the breakfast - it was okay but that was about it. I would certainly recommend this place if you are heading to Florence.
