This hotel had a great staff! It was in a good location, although difficult to find. It was affordable for the area. Free wi-fi. The rooms could use some updating. There was no view. The shower was horrible; it trickled (no pressure) and constantly turned from hot to cold. There is no parking, but there is a parking garage close by (expensive).

Great location, great staff, great laundry service, good breakfast variety, great pamphlets, air con, tv.
Downside: Rooms not cleaned very well, no lift for upstairs room- staff help lots, basic- non luxuries, small shower.

When we arrived in Florence we decided to spend the night there, so we started looking for a hotel. We found two last minute rooms in Hotel Bellettini. The only ones that were free were the ones with ensuite bathroom, which was exactly what we wanted! We payed 80 euros for the double room and 60 for the single room, which had a view of the Duomo. Very good price for Florence! Both of the rooms were very spacious. The breakfast was good and the location perfect. The guy at the reception was very helpful.
The lobby is always packed with young tourists since there's WiFi access (I don't know if it's free, I didn't ask) but that didn't bother us, cause we didn't spend any time there.

For this hotel, had it been anywhere else location wise, I would have given it a rating of 2.
It is very expensive and basic for what you get. You are paying soley for the location.
Saying this, the location cannot be beaten. Turn right out of the hotel, walk up the street for a couple of minutes, turn left and there is the Duamo. Could see the dome from our window which was nice.
The furnishings and decor in the hotel all scream the same thing... that they have probably been using the same ones for the last 20 years. It was however clean. We had a shared bathroom (was the cheaper option) which was okay cleanliness wise.
The air conditioning was excellent in our room. I see some other reviews say the rooms were too hot? We left ours on one night and were freezing! No problems with the aircon in room 38!Our rates included breakfast but can't share an opinion on this as we didn't have breakfast here as preffered to go out and sit in the piazzas for cappuccinos rather than sit in the hotel.
Its a bit confusing to find. We got a taxi from the train station which dropped us directly outside and we accidently walked into the spa next door which shares the same entrance. Just take the lift on the left up to the floors marked 'bedrooms' and the reception is actually on the same floor.

Would we go back? I think most likely yes, becasue the location was so perfect. I think we would pay extra for our own bathroom though. Didn't like the shared bathroom facility. The toilet was clean the shower quite old and a little bit grimy. All in all the stay was fine and we only used it too sleep. A good base in Florence.
