We stayed at this hotel for 41 euros per night for a double room including breakfast which ws an absolute steal! We only needed a couple of nights so werent fussed and wanted something close to everything. This hotel was only 5 minutes easy walk to the station which we did in the rain quite easily and was only 1 minute walk from the cathedral and 5 minutes from the Galleria Dell Accedamia where the Statue of David is so it really is right in the middle of town. It is also right outside the flea markets where all the touristy stalls are which was great.
The room was small, held the double bed, table with television and a wardrobe and there wasnt much room once we put our two suitcases in but it sufficed for the two nights and was fine when you want to be out a bit sightseeing. For 41 euros it was great! The bathroom had a shower that was literally a curtain over a drain which was hard to get used to but it did the job.
Breakfast was good too, with croissants, cereals and some hot eggs etc but is very busy so Id get in early.
The entrance is a bit hard to find, it is just a lift in an alley but the actual reception area is really nice. The staff were all great and are on hand 24 hours a day and they can make bookings for you for the Ufizzi Museum and the Statue of David which I would recommend.
Overall if you are looking for somewhere cheap and comfortable I would highly recommend this. Whilst we are paying all sorts of money for varying accommodation in Italy this was great value out of all our experiences. Oh and it does have free wifi as well as internet in the reception area.
