A 6 minute easy walk from Florence Station and down a lovely quiet street. We were in room 311 with a queen and 2 singles. It was adequate room wise for our four nights and the beds were very comfortable. Great walking distance to everything and an amazing breakfast every morning (would recommend for this alone !!) Service was friendly - hotel was exceptionally clean and had a lovely atmosphere. Booked online with the hotel direct and had some personal communications with them too, all of which was handled extremely well and in a very friendly welcoming manner. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in a good location and was highly recommended but my husband and I and our friends were totally turned off by the property and the staff as well.

First, there is a "sewage" smell lingering in parts of the hotel. When you get off the elevator to the first floor or third floor or walking down the stairs, you could smell something.

Second, rooms were big, not typical for Europe. Bathroom was clean as well. However, there was a "moldy" smell in the room, just like an old dark basement that seemed to have not been aired out for a year.

Third, we had the "DO NOT DISTURB" light on and the door hanger sign as well. Unfortunately, housekeeping still came in, cleaned up and rearranged our things. The worse part, they threw some of our personal things that they shouldn't have touched!

Fourth, as tourists to Florence, you would expect that the front desk people will be more welcoming and communicating all important information (i.e breakfast time, breakfast place, maps of Florence, restaurants, etc). None were offered!

I could enumerate more things but I think I've covered the most important items.

Never ever do the people on Trip Advisor let me down. My hotel room was amazingly large for 3 adults, like the size of my whole downstairs in my house. Super clean & convenient location. Walked everywhere. Staff friendly, courteous and spoke English very well.
The best part, the coffee for breakfast, just like this American likes....THANK YOU !!!
The free breakfast was very filling and wide assortment. I would highly recommend this place.
Can't beat it.

We have stayed here many times when in Florence. Conveniently located near the station (but not a noisy "station" hotel. Beautiful high-tech rooms, great bathrooms, lovely breakfast. Easy walking distance to all attractions. Near the big San Lorenzo outdoor market, 10 minutes from the Duomo, etc., etc. Very helpful English-speaking staff. A great experience and a welcoming oasis from the city bustle every time we are there. Great restaurant a few doors down -- Enzo & Piero.
