The hotel looks stunning, it's clean and modern and staff is great. We had a little problem and they were so helpful!

Perfect location

Hotel Londra was a last minute book for my friends and me but we were able to get a room for three of us and pay very little for the one night we spent in Florence. The hotel lobby always tells so much about a place and this hotel had a very welcoming entrance. There seems to have been some moderizing recently which was nice.

The receptionist was pleasant but not overly welcoming. I would have appreciated more hospitatlity but for one night, it was fine.

The room itself was nice enough and the location was good, just near the train station. We were able to park in the hotel lot which was a huge bonus as we wanted to walk around town and not worry about the car.

Breakfast was a let down but with options much like any other continental, you have some choice.

We were pleased to see a nice gym and sauna, which we used before heading back out of town.

I would recommend the hotel if you are going to visit Florence. Location isn't in the dead center of town, but it's certainly close and the price on the room was good. Worth a visit.

On our 2 week tour of Italy this was the least desirable hotel. The room was clean, but very small with extra firm beds and pillows that matched! The trolleys ran right under the window all night long! The AC was not controllable. They were not able to get me a phone line out so that I could use a phone card. They did, however, have two computers in their lobby that could be used for free. Also, this hotel was not within walking distance of any sights and seemed to be in a sketchy area.

This hotel had a great look. The rooms were clean with very modern decor. There were 3 disappointing things. 1) the street the hotel is on is a bus only street as far as i can tell. 2) the rooms are very hot and the hotel management has decided to turn off the air conditioning system for the fall and winter. They haven't informed the staff so 3 different people came to show us how the a/c works. It was only after i called the front desk that we found out the a/c doesnt work because they turn whole system off for the winter. 3) the windows in our room were quite sound proof. When we opened them we found out that every 3 minutes 24 hours a day, a noisey trolley goes by. So you can't sleep because the room is too hot, the a/c doesn't work and you can't sleep if you open the windows because of the noise. Very disappointing! Leaving the a/c on for the winter would have solved the problems.
