I have had several friends stay at the Bernini, and they loved it. My friends and I often go to the hotel bar for a wonderful glass of Brunello wine. The decor is elegant without being stuffy, and the staff is lovely.

We stayed at the Hotel Bernini Palace for four nights. My husband was in Florence for business and I traveled with him. I can only say wonderful things about the hotel. We stayed in a standard room and it was very large by European standards. The breakfast was very good and the staff were all top notch. The very best part of the hotel though for me was the location. It is steps from some of the top sights and everything I wanted to see was within easy walking distance.

We stayed here in the early part of Jan 2012 and had a wonderful stay. It is a lovely 15th century building, renovated beautifully and i loved the shades of green making it look so bright and cheerful. The toiletries given complimentary were of a wonderful quality and they have tried to think of small things like a warm towel rack, evening service chocolates and a well stocked mini bar.

the breakfat was also a wide selection and especially since we had children it was a very comfortable spread.

The best part being the amazing location where you can walk down to almost all the famous attractions of Florence and the river side is such a lovely walk in the evening. The only problem was that our room was facing the street and despite being on the 5th floor we got disturbed every night with the sound of traffic and fellow tourist revellers walking till late at night.

We had a lovely stay and hope to go back some day

On first appearance this hotel looks great, clearly money has been spent on the reception and bar. The rooms are a slight let down but still comfortable in a classic style.
Within walking distance of all the great Florence sights, this hotel represented good value and the buffet breakfast was included.
