Booked four nights using my "Flavours" points (the Golden Tulip Hotel group "rewards" programme).
Disappointing that the hotel doesn't offer an airport shuttle service - the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra, Ghana can manage this... The taxi was about 12 Euro each way.
The receptionist wasn't too cheerful on our arrival. Dragged our own bags to the ground floor "superior" room.
Strange that the carpets were wet by the door - as well as the wall. Found out why - our shower outlet was blocked so presume they had the same problem upstairs? Blockage was cleared by a very helpful maintenance man who also brought more pillows.
We only ate the continental breakfast (included) there. Not bad but I have had a lot better.
The hotel is very well situated for public transport as the bus stops are on the main road right outside the hotel grounds. It is easy to buy bus tickets at the small shop 200m around the corner as the hotel kept running out of them.
There are two pizza restaurants nearby - the one 200m on the left as you go out of the hotel grounds is superb (can't recall the name). There is also a nice general store about 100m away where you can buy snacks, wine etc.
I think that the hotel is run on a shoe-string budget which might make it seem like a nice place for the "tour bus' people staying for only one night but does not help if you stay longer - the carpets are getting threadbare and the place looks a bit run down.
I would probably stay there again but only for the convenience of having the buses right on the doorstep and for the great pizza restaurant (make sure that you have the calzone).
