“Lovely quiet hotel with easy access to centre of Florence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2009

WE found this perfect for a couple of days in Florence. The location was great: a lovely quite place within walking distance of central Florence but there was also a frequent and quick bus service if we were feeling tired. Staff were really friendly and helpful: a succession of really nice people on the desk. Rooms were very stylish, comfortable and clean.

“Great value hotel, quiet area close to town”

This hotel is excellent value and in a great location.

Set in a quiet neighbourhood close to the river, it's a pleasent 15 minute stroll in to town or a short bus ride.

The rooms are typical 3 star: very comfy and clean.

The staff were very friendly and kind. If you are looking for a great value hotel and a good nights sleep, then this is the place!

“Good option for Florence hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2008

My wife and I spent two night in this nice hotel.
We prefer that the hotel will be placed out side the city center and will have a close public transportation ability. This is exactly what we got in Liberty hotel. It is 15 minutes bus drive from the city center and it takes 5 minutes walking to get to the bus station (the bus arrives once in 10 minutes or so).
The room was nice, the breakfast was OK as well.
The price was fair (99 Euro per night + 15 Euro per night for car parking).
The most impressive part of this hotel is the service level of the staff. They were welcoming and very helpful. They have pointed us exactly to the highlights that should be seen in Florence in two days time.

“Generally a pleasant stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2008

Staying in Liberty Hotel was generally a pleasant experience, but I have to highlight some points.
Something I didn't like was that during our staying there for 3 days, nobody came to change sheets and towels. In addition, they had told us that the hotel offers bicycles for free, as the centre is a bit far if you don't like walking, but the bicycles were damaged.
Finally, the staff were generally friendly and helpful and the breakfast was not very big but it had a variety of products.

“Beautiful Location walking distance from Ponte Vecchio”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2008

Hotel Liberty is in a beautiful neighborhood about a mile from the Ponte Vecchio. We arrived by rental car and parking was 15€ extra per night. At first there was a mix up with our room reservation – the desk manager gave us a double instead of a triple; however, he soon remedied this. Unfortunately, the triple did not have the lovely view of the grounds that the double had. In fact, it had no view but did have a nice balcony. The room was large, clean and comfortable with plenty of storage. The bath too was large with a good shower and plenty of towels. One thing I noted throughout Italy was the standard hair dryers provided in all of the hotels in which we stayed; they were, without a doubt, the worst I have ever used. The breakfast at the hotel was very nice – standard continental. The one drawback was the lack of restaurants nearby. We did find a wonderful trattoria not far from the hotel but it was not open every evening. The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel if in Florence again.
