The hotel is on a quiet road (which wa good as we were travelling with 2 small children). The reception area is small with a little waiting area to the side of the desk. Check in was a debarcle as we were travelling in a tour group, not all the group could fit into the reception area!!! The lifts are very tiny (enough room for 1 person and 2 suitcases maximum). Reception staff could do with some training but were obliging when I needed some milk for my daughter (even if it did take 30 mins as receptionist could not leave counter unattended and had to wait for her colleague to come to the desk) The room we were in was spacious 1 double bed in one room and a single bed in the other. Very oudated decor and the beds were not the best. Cleanliness is of a concern as we found a rotten apple near the bed and food on the wall that had been there for sometime. Credit to the staff however, when it was reported it was removed straight away.

I would not recommend this hotel and was thankful we only spent one night here.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel at the end of May 2011. Location - not so close to center, but it was not a problem for me cause I was going on foot sightseeing of city; It is close to Arno river.
Room was comfortable and clean, with big bed. The bathroom was clean, but a bit cosy with a bathtub in. Restaurant is nice, with good food (had only breakfast). The only "bad" thing is that you have to pay for internet. Big parking in back.

Overall, very nice and convenient.

We spend one night here as part of an EuroBike cycle trip from Venice to Florence. The room was of good size, good bed, clean, and good bathroom facilities. Breakfast served is good with a reasonable buffet selection. Coffee served is average. The hotel is located quite far from the centre of town but a bus stop is around the corner. Taxi cost us about €15 to get to town. While the hotel itself was acceptable the service at the front desk was absolutely abysmal. Don't except service with a smile!

The location is a bit far out from Florence CBD but other than that my stay was enjoyable. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast supplied was good.
