Hotel Dante is the best value in all of Florence! I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights and was able to easily walk to every museum and landmark in the city. I was graciously welcomed by hotel owner Elton and his lovely wife Rossana who made me feel welcome each and every day of my stay. Owner Elton made several restaurant recommendations the best of which was Que Ganzi only a 5 minute walk away. The room was spotless and bathrooms tidy. The sumptuous breakfast was efficiently served by Julia. I would definately return to Hotel Dante. I could have afforded to pay much more for a hotel in Florence but why when the Dante provided all that I required.

I have just visited Florence with my mum and we stayed in this lovely little hotel tucked away in a small side street 2 minutes walk from Santa Croce square. On arrival we were given a very warm welcome by the hotel owner - he was friendly, knowledgable and nothing was too much trouble....in fact all the staff were really nice. We had a light and airy room on the third floor - there is a lift - but the stairs were good exercise after eating lots of pasta and ice-cream (you must try the ice-cream in Florence - so many flavours!) I would definately recommend this hotel.... wonderful staff, good breakfast, great location.

Such nice staff, really clean hotel, great free breakfast! We were there for a wedding and they couldn't have been nicer about putting up with us. Overall, the place was quiet and really well kept. Great location... definitely recommend this place!

Upon arriving at Hotel Dante in Florence Italy, we were greeted by the hotel owners. They were great ! The elevator was small, but it sure beats lugging all the luggage up the stairs. Rooms were failry big for Italy, but it just so happened that my A/C was broke. It was very hot, so the hotel owner gave us a Fan ! The breakfast was OK to. Assortment of deli meats, cheeses, eggs, cereals, and Java. !
