/Although Helene at the front desk was charming, helpful and sweet we were very disappointed in the Hotel Our first room had no heat and she graciously gave us another (larger) room. The rooms were mediocre, hair dryer was just a tube, the floor tiles were cracked as was the celing. It was very clean however and I had no trepidation staying there.

Bit disturbed by adverse comments but it was fine, Good position to all the areas of importance.
Staff were very pleasant. Room was small but comfortable. Bathroom compact and took a long time for the bath to fill with hot water.
Breakfast offered a lot of choice.
Would use this hotel again on a visit to Florence

Stylish historic building, rooms are bigger than average in italian old towns and well taken care of, staff is really helpful and friendly, great breakfast and right in the middle of Florence! couldn't ask for more!

Apart from poor drainage in the bathroom, and flooding the bathroom floor soon after my arrival, I had a comfortable stay at this hotel. It was an easy walk to the main attractions, and was also within walking distance of the train station.

The hotel is on a narrow, but pretty busy street. The street sweeper machines and garbage trucks came past very early each morning!
