This hotel was pretty nice with clean rooms. Breakfast was average. 10 minute walk to the train station or most of the attractions i.e. Duomo etc. We had a room on the second floor overlooking the piazza which was noisy at night. There is a recycling deposit station right below you room so you get to hear the sound of glass bottles being dumped at various times of the night. The view of the piazza is nice, but bring some earplugs if you want to sleep. Daily fee for internet access.

I found the hotel very nice: my room was huge, clean with a big bathroom and excellent located; the staff was extremely polite and helpful.
My room had a beautiful view to St Maria Novella church but the noise was terrible, I needed ear plugs to sleep!
Breakfast was average, could be better!
Overall, the hotel is great, I highly recommend!

Thes 4 Star hotel is located within walking distance of the Santa Maria Novella Train Station. Several of the city's primary attractions, including the Duome Complex, Academia Gallery, Santa Maria Novella Church and the San Lorenzo Basilica are within easy walking distance. Rooms are clean and reasonably sized. The staff are friendly and the front office personnel speak English. Rooms are not equipped with tea/coffee maker. One negative point, though. It can be quite noisy in the rooms throughout the night. It was difficult to get a proper night's sleep. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are several good ones around. Breakfast was pretty good

Great location, clean rooms but staff friendliness inconsistent. Some very helpful at front desk, others very curt. Would stay there again though due to great location and value.
