“Thanks for the fantastic stay, we'll be back!”

My friends and I stayed 3 nights at Executive Hotel.

It's a 4 star hotel, but it gives you not a flashy luxuriousness, nor plain structural functionality, but a real comfortability that you feel like you're home.

We (3 ladies) stayed at an big American type of hotel before Florence, and the building quality itself was better there(eg. larger and quicker elevator etc), but the service quality and the elegant European classic atmosphere here definitely surpassed it. All the staff were very efficient and provided us warm services from the heart.

We asked to make a reservation at a restaurant recommended in a book(it's name is Trattoria Armando, only a minute walk from the hotel, very reasonable and excellent taste) and the manager, Riccardo was instantly of our service and made one for us. Also, they made a reservation at Academia museum(or the choice of Uffizi) for us for free admission, as a service of staying 3 nights+.

Other noteworthy thing is it's great location. It's less than 10 minute walk from the train station, but I prefer this way since it's more quiet and not very touristic than in front the the station. There're so many nice local restaurants and shops nearby and you can enjoy a nice walk to Ponte Vecchio by the river and the Duomo is also only a 15 minute walk.

It's such a great value in Florence and we'll definitely come back!

“Romantic weekend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 July 2011

We took a trip to Firenze and Pisa for a weekend and stayed here for two nights. The location is good, near river Arno and still just 15 min of pleasant walk by the river or through narrow side streets from the most crowded streets around Duomo. Parking is in the neighbouring street in a public garage and not very expensive. But finding the hotel without GPS navigation would be a tough case, because of many one way streets around it. Room was clean and nice, breakfast was pretty decent and for dinner you absolutely have to go to the city.

“Good hotel in the historic centre of Florence close to tourist attractions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2011

We stopped off for a week in beautful Florence during our travels in Italy in January 2011. The Hotel Executive is very conveniently located in the historic centre near the main tourist attractions and is within easy walking distance to the train station and bus services. The buffet breakfast was good and the service staff were friendly and helpful. Inside, the hotel has a quaint uniqueness about it. But do not book the Classic rooms - they are not recommended at all. We were disappoined with the room we were given but had to stay there the first night and were able to upgrade to a Deluxe room the next morning, The difference between staying in the Classic and Deluxe rooms is like being in two different hotels. My rating of this hotel is based on our stay in the Deluxe room.

“The service was superb”

The front desk at the Hotel Executive gave superb customer service to my friend and me.
They booked hotels, charged our cell phones, gave directions, and showed concern for our concerns. In particular, Andrea and Michel, and the manager were shining stars.

“Just ok. Rooms bare. Very loud, but good service.”

We were a little disappointed by this hotel. Our room was small and depressing. At night it was very loud. Neither of us slept. The breakfast was average. However, I will say the price was phenomenal and the service was great. If you are looking on a budget this will do the job.
