Good Points
- Great location - minutes away from train station and centre of town (cathedral etc)
- There was a safe in the room to put valuables
- The hotel was clean
- There was a fridge at reception where you could buy water and soft drinks cheaply
- Our room was quiet, although we were at the back of the hotel

Bad Points
- No air-con
- No lift - we had to drag our suitcases up the narrowest staircase
- Staff spoke hardly any English (one day we had to write our room number down as he didn't understand us, even though i attempted to say it in italian as well as English)
- Breakfast was awful, don't pay for it - there were 2 cereals, croissant and toast/biscuit thing in a bag - worst breakfast i've had in a hotel. We grabbed breakfast elsewhere
- Small room (however we did get used to it)
- Small bathroom - it was a long and thin wetroom bathroom. You actually had to sit on the toilet at a slant

We were in Italy for 2 weeks and this was by far the worst hotel we stayed in. Our room was up 4 massive flights of stairs with no elevator, we then went into our room with NO air conditioning, hard beds and the shower over the toilet. It was very very noisy at night and we barely slept. Luckily we only stayed for 1 night so we sucked it up. If we were booked for any more nights we definitely would have sacrificed the cancellation fee and left. I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE. The only pro was the location.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL, RECENTLY BOOKED THIS HOTEL W-1800 HOTELS, DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM, am trying to leave. Read this review very carefully!! The walls are pealing, rug is pealing up, the bathroom toilet must be straddled in order to use it!! There is no toilet seat!!! In order to use the toilet you lift up the bidet seat which is composed of a 1 and 1-2 inch hole. Place smells, rooms are supposed to be smoke free, but there is cigarette smoke throughout halls, drifting from rooms. The room is lit by one 40 watt bulb, and a small lighting fixture over a mirror. HAH! The sheets and towels are clean!!! The toilet and shower is in the same room, which could have been alright if the room was not 3 feet by 2 feet!!!!!!!!!!!!! Evening staff does not speak English. Asked people on street where to internet cafe. Location is good, near to everything.

We booked in and found the hotel right in the middle of the city and a short walk from the station. our room was on the 3rd floor and with a very steep set of stairs to climb this was the first problem. the room was very small and the double bed was a wide single! with a 10 year at least mattress! that we turned to see if it was any better, NO.
the wallpaper was held on at joins with stcky tape and the en suite was a wet room greek style and very small. breakfast was available from 8 am and if you aren't there by 10 past the rolls have all gone, and there isn't anymore to be had. there are no facilities for hot drinks only a machine that eats money and gives very little in return.staff are mixed depending on who is on duty but we found them to be very basic and not that pleasant for a hotel so near to the Doumo. ther are plenty of other hotels so near so If this one doesn't perk up and give a better service it will close very soon I think.
