Basic, B&B hotel. Don't stop off at the newer looking B&B hotel just a minutes bus ride down the road. Bus number 22 directly outside Florence Train Station will get you to the hotel in around 20 minutes. It's not that far outside the central area of Florence - for those of you used to staying in hotels further out.

The hotel has recently been re-decorated - just a lick of paint by the looks of things. The room we stayed in was very spacious. Very very basic... tv, bed, bedside shelf and that's it. The bathroom was very small - the shower cubicle was hilarious! You could hardly fit into the thing let alone turn to clean your bits! The shower door would not close properly leaving water to seep out.... the plug hole could not cope with the volume of water churning out - therefore to turn off the shower to allow the level of water in the cubicle to decrease.

There is a launderette just a few shops down for those of you traveling for a long break around Europe and a supermarket around the corner of the hotel too - some great bargains found... some nice take out joints along the stretch of road too...

I would recommend this for those budget staying folk but beware of any tiny shower cubicle!

We only stayed here one night before our flight out of the Florence Airport. It was fine for one night. However, had I booked a room for more nights than that, I would have looked for another hotel. On a positive note, it was close to the airport. Also, the front desk was happy to call for a taxi, which we asked for on 2 occasions, and the taxis were there within 3-5 minutes! The rooms were very small and sparse, but clean. The shower had no shower curtain or shower door. The water just fell out onto the floor. We mentioned to the front desk that we didn't have a shower curtain or door and were told that was the case with most of the rooms. Well, I guess it's their problem to clean up the water. We left for the airport at 4 a.m. and saw several "street walkers" hanging on the corners. Perhaps this is in a red district zone? All in all, not bad for one night but I think I would look for another hotel if ever in that area again.

I just stay one night at this hotel, I loved how modern it is, we got a room in the first floor, it was painted red, the room opens with a code of 6 numbers, and it had a very cool bathroom, simple but with the necessary, the room light is was pretty neat, right above the bed. The breakfast was good, and the breakfast lady was very funny, eventhough she didn't speak spanish, she was making jokes with all of us.

After I booked this hotel I read some horrible reviews, however the hotel itself was not bad at all, rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was ok, its a little off center but bus takes about 20 min to get to the center. What I didn't like was rude staff who did not bother to provide us with any extra information, every time we had to ask a question one of the guys would respond in very short rude manner like he didn't want to be blathered, plus when we were in breakfast room one of the women purse got stolen with passport and everything and there are cameras all over the hotel, however staff did not bother to offer any assistance told poor woman to come back tomorrow instead of calling police right away or check the cameras so I didn't really like that.
