Our day with Guido was a day to remember. Our group of 8 had a full day from the pickup at dockside in Livorno to the return at the end of the day.
The wine & olive oil tastings, the towns & beautiful countryside and the memorable lunch in San Casciano are all moments to remember & cherish.
Guido is the very best!

What a great day! We were in Florence/Tuscany on a cruise ship stop and wanted to be able to see a bit of Florence but also some of the countryside with a wine tasting. We had been to that area before, but our friends had not. We booked with Guido as it sounded like we could do a bit of everything. Guido was great to work with in the planning and met us at our ship right on time. He was also a very nice guy! We started in Florence to explore for a few hours and then he drove us into the countryside in the Chianti region. During our drive he gave us a lot of the history of the area and about the history of wine making. After a drive we went to the winery for a great tour of the entire facility. This part was great as he did it himself for just the four of us. He was so knowledgeable about the process and art of winemaking! After that we did our tasting. Again, even though we were at a local winery, he did the tasting himself for just us. As he is a certified sommelier and professional wine taster, the tasting was so much fun and really informative. We learned a lot and tasted a lot. The "light" lunch at the winery was fantastic. Beware that "light" is far from it! This day was one of the highlights of our trip, and I would definitely recommend it and go back for more!

Our day with Guido was one of our best and we would hghly recommend him! There was 10 of us cruising but six of us had never been to Italy before. The six of us wanted to experience a little bit of everything and Guido was fantastic at being able to do this for us. We knew his speciality was wine and wine tours but that he also did other tours as well. He was able to do everything we asked for in our one day port stop in Livorno. Our ship was late getting in but Guido was patient and waiting for us once we disembarked. We started with a few hours in Florence seeing the highlights and David at the Accademia. Guido had reserved our tickets for us and that was our first stop. Guido's english is great and we really enjoyed all of his explanations about Florence and some of it's history. Once we finished in Florence we headed to the Tuscany area to a small winery (friends of Guidos) for wine and olive oil tasting. Guido is a wine sommelier and his expertise greatly showed here. Our hosts and owners of the winery Eva and Leonardo were also great and Eva was able to join us and help Guido with any questions to do with the wine and winery. We than were welcomed into their home for an authentic lunch with wine and olive oil tasting. This was an experience that none of us will ever forget! Once we finished at the winery we had one more short stop in Pisa. If you are looking for a wine tour or any combination of tour in the Tuscany area, you can't go wrong with Guido!

Guido was wonderful! We did a day tour with him in Tuscany. He met us at the ship on time and was very knowledgable particularly about wine! He took us to some great wineries and also selected a fantastic restaurant that was a 'local' spot and did not cater to tourists. He spoke fantastic English, his van was absolutely spotless. I would recommend Guido for whatever tour he is offering. We were clearly focused on wineries and he did not disappoint us!

When we go back we will certainly call Guido again!
