We stayed at the Hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is in a good location, very clean, modern and stylish. The staff were very helpful, friendly and looked up information on the internet, when requested. The self service breakfast was well presented and plentiful. The bedroom was small, but very clean. The hotel is perfect for a romantic, stylish break in Florence. At times it was as if we were the only guests in the hotel. Every evening we were the only the guests in the lounge drinking, it was like having a private bar.
However, the hotel claims to have a rooftop terrance and jacuzzi, what is not clear in any website, that this is only available at a cost of 250 Euros for half a day. There is no bar as the drinks are served from the kitchen, at the cost of 20 euros for 2 large glasses. Take an iron as the reception claim in Italy they are not allowed to hand out irons. There were very few coat hangers. Despite the negatives we would recommend this hotel because it 's a unique and stylish hotel in a good location.

I like to stay in local smaller high end hotels with personalized service. When I enetered the hotel 3 people stood behind the check in counter. Not one lifted his head to greet us. Our luggage( 4 large bags) lay on the sidewalk outside the front door . "Would you like help with your luggage" That sent the tone . This was billed as a 4 star hotel with rates to match "Huh" i thought !! ..I can go into details ,rooms tiny, and there were some good points to the hotel...but in a town with so many choices there is absolutely NO I mean ZERO reasons to stay here. Just without charm ,lifeless .Trying to be relevant but failing miserably .

Hotel Home is an absolutely stunning boutique hotel and catered over and above for all our needs. My friend and I stayed for 5 nights and we could not have been wowed more by this accommodation and the extremely friendly and helpful staff.

There have been very few times that I have been stunned by accommodation (even when I have felt that I have paid a significant price), but this took our breath away with its interior design and was very reasonably priced. The concept throughout by Cyrus Company is white and elegant - and it is wonderful to return to such a soothing and relaxing room (with air conditioning!) after a hot day walking round Florence! The room and bed was a good size (and extremely comfortable!) and the bathroom was spotless.

Nibbles and drinks are laid on throughout the day for guests to tuck into whilst passing (including an alcoholic drink in the evening!) and the breakfast was wonderful - a fine spread ranging from hot food ordered from the kitchen, to an array of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and fantastic breakfast cakes!

There is a beautifully designed pool room and two Macs with free internet (there is also free wireless in all the rooms). The hotel is ideally located next to the River Arno and just 10 minutes leisurely walking distance to Ponte Vecchio (central Florence). We walked everywhere and felt extremely safe in Florence. The hotel is right near some great restaurants - Balvodino's is just up the road.

I could not reccommend this hotel more. It's not for people who are after a quaint chintzy Tuscan experience, or for those who want to eat in the hotel every night (there is no restaurant), but it is perfect for those who appreciate modern aesthetics, superb cleanliness and fantastic top quality service. A little gem in Florence!

A new-age hotel for Florence, very very white (des what is states on this tin) so would suit the fashionistas out there! The rooms are small but comfortable enough, location is not bad - only 10 minutes to the Ponte Vecchio. I didn't like the breakfast room - no natural light and dispite all the whiteness, is felt a bit gloomy + a very unusuall layout means means you get close up and comfortable with your fellow guests...
