We stayed for a 2nd time in May 2011. Its a wonderful place to stay and Massimo is very helpful. He helped us with our rental car and was available for our many questions. As we found it in the past, Rugapiana Vacanze is clean and well maintained. It makes us feel like we belong rather than just visiting. The location is excellent with a grocery just steps away. We even found parking within close walking distance.

It was really authentic and comfotable and hospitality as well. Unfortunately I had only one day stay there.

We absolutely loved Cortona and the Rugapiana Vacanze hotel ! It was a great base for day trips in Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany and the hotel staff, especially Massimo is amazing.
We did eat at different restaurants in Cortona each night, all within walking distance, all were recommended by Massimo and all were fantastic, charming and wonderful !.
Cortona is a beautiful town, with quaint shops and charming restaurants, the Rugapiana Vacanze is a perfect place to stay.
We will be back but next time we will stay longer !!.

We had a great time staying in the Rugapiana B&B. It is very well located, right on via Nazionale, few steps from all major attractions of the city of Cortona. The apartment was of a very good standard, clean, decorated with taste, in typical tuscan style, which gave a feeling of being at home. In particular we were pleased with the warm welcoming given by Massimo, he made the difference and we'll surely suggest our friends to stop by there for a trip to Cortona. Cortona itself is a magic place, still a small village but with such an international atmosphere, very close to some of the most beautiful spots in Tuscany and Umbria. This was a beautiful discovering, we'll probably return to Cortona and to Rugapiana soon, since we didn't have enough time to visit everything this beautiful area has to offer.
