“Delightful Hotel”

Can't say enough good things about our stay at Villa Marsili. We were warmly greeted by Lulia upon our arrival. She was so very friendly and helpful with excellent restaurant recommendation, directions, and general information, made us feel like family. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary so we splurged and stayed in their suite. What a treat! The suite was very spacious and had a fabulous view of the valley. We also looked at their standard room. All European rooms are small by American standards, but their regular room was very nice as well. The breakfast buffet was delicious. A large variety of food including gluten free items. Each night they also had a appetizers available on the main floor, so nice to enjoy with a glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing. We would DEFINITELY return to the Villa Marsili on our next trip to Tuscany!

“Elegant hotel in a convenient location”

We stayed two nights here and found the reception very helpful and charming. The room was small but prettily decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the service prompt. The wifi worked (a rarity in Italy). Cortona is a romantic village, and this hotel is one we'd definitely stay in again.

“Old world charm with a feeling of luxury”

This hotel is a gem tucked a few steps away from the main shopping area and tourist attractions of the historic town of Cortona. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and airy with pretty furnishings. The wifi worked well, plenty of hot water and a nice closet for storage. They had a really good breakfast with lots of choices and great cappucino! In the evening there was Vin Santo and biscotti waiting for us in the lobby as a nice nightcap. Especially helpful was Iulia at the hotel reception who not only welcomed us and made sure our stay was comfortable, she also went out of her way to get information for us after we returned home.

Room Tip: Rooms on the South side face the amazing landscape and lake in the valley below Cortona.

“Subtle luxury”

Had the bar set not too high as it was in small village. This villa exceeded expectations on all fronts. Breakfast was included and was outstanding. The room was amazing and bathroom was huge. We stayed here 2 nights and definitely would go back. The language barrier was not an issue. All staff were very pleasant and very helpful. All in all a definite recommend.

Room Tip: had a corner room with great views. windows should be closed at night as the people get up early and...
