We spent an afternoon taking Paola's excellent personalized cooking class on classic Tuscan dishes. We learned to make five kinds of breads (focaccia, baguette, pizza, etc.), two types of pasta (ravioli and taglitelle), cantucci, and numerous antipasti. Of course, our meal comprised our own cooking - it was delicious even with our amateur input. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a cooking class while in Cortona. My hotel recommended Paola so we went to have dinner at her restaurant. We were seated in a lovely courtyard and enjoyed an amazing meal. The menu offers a variety of options, the service is great, and Paola is an amazing woman full of warmth and kindness. This is by far the best food in Cortona and the friendliest service. I did take a cooking class from Paola and it was one of the best memories of my trip. If you want an unforgettable meal eat here and don't forget to indulge in their wonderful deserts. I will definitely return on my next trip to Cortona.

Our dinner at La Locanda al Pozzo Antico was a culinary experience worth remembering and repeating. Our group of 15 people who where in Cortona for five days, all agreed that the dinner at L Locanda al Pozzo Antico was one of the highlights of our dining experience in Cortona. Signora Paola created for us a menu from the best of Tuscan cuisine, in addition to providing excellent wine recommendations. Each course was well prepared,the service was attentive and affable. We dined in the charming courtyard of the restaurant. Prior to the group dinner, my wife and I had dinner at the restaurant, here again we experienced a truly memorable meal. Excellent food,good presentation,personal friendly service,reasonably priced.
