We stayed at Pagliaore for 2 weeks and we had a fantastic time. The apartment is big, well equipped and decorated very beautiful. We spent a lot of time in the shadow of the trees in the garden looking at the wonderful scenery surrounding the house.
With a car it is easy to come around and enjoy Volterra, Siena, Massa Marittima and other lovely cities in Toscana.
Roberta was very helpful and speaks english fluently.
We highly recommend this place.

“Warm hospitality in serene surroundings”
We have just returned from a two week round-trip with a rental car in Tuscany enjoying the Tuscan summer.
We spent 5 days at Pagliaore where the very kind Roberta took very good care of us. Due to the warm and hospitable reception we felt very much at home in the very beautiful apartment that was let to us.
Pagliaore is placed very central for sight-seeing by car in the central/southern Tuscany yet still isolated enough to give great calm. We highly recommend this place. There were absolutely no issues with anything and the experience was very good.
We cooked in the accompanying kitchen a couple of nights and went grocery shopping just down the hill in the city below.
Driving for restaurants is on average 30 minutes away but the local town has a very recommendable Pizzaria that is highly affordable.
The apartment is hovering at 4 stars and the kindness of the host takes the whole thing to 5 stars in our book.
