We have had such a nice stay at Terra Rossa!!! We rented a big appartment and it was great. Very spacious a had everything you need.
Location was panoramic, a great seaview. Quite a lot of steps to go up to town or down to the sea but for us it was not a problem eventhough we were with our 1-year old daughter.
We want to recommend this location to everybody!!

Our trip to Taormina (Sicily)

In the middle of a meditterean garden, situated half way between the town center
and the sea, it has been the best choice we could make for our vacation !
The relaxing experience we had as no others word to be described as fascinating and unforgettable !
The hospitality is family friendly thanks to a staff made of the Martorana family !
They all talk different languages from English, French, German, and Polish.
We have been welcomed really well .
The Villa that we rented at Terra Rossa has been perfect, with a kitchen and a little bath!
It is perfect for people who wants to have dinner at home at night and want go all the time at the restourant.
The room was really nice with a simple forniture, but with a breathtaking view on the mediterrean sea and of course the Isola Bella.
There is the possibility to have breakfast in a very nice dinig room, and a swimmingpool.
If you want, like we did, you can park your car inside the parking lot.
It as affortable price and we raccomend that to couple and people with kids

We stayed in Terra Rossa with my girlfriend the first week of September 2009 and we were totally excited. The apartments are situated in a big garden full of palm-trees, flowers, cactuses and small lizards, so you have a view of a garden or of the shore from your terrace. The interior is simple, but we found there everything we needed and the bedroom with a big double bed was very cosy. It is only about 10 minutes downstairs to beautiful pebble and rock beaches of Isola Bella, though upstairs it is a bit worse - a good exercise for the legs. Approximately the same distance upstairs is it to the center of Taormina, where you can find many souvenir shops, restaurants, and also many sights, including the Greek Theater. We would definitely recommend Terra Rossa for your stay! You will spend there a romantic holiday full of splendid experiences and we believe, that you will feel like in a paradise. We did.

The gardens are really beautiful and superbly kept,as was the swimming pool. If only we could say the same about the apartment, number 4.
The apartment was very dowdy. Whilst spacious and simply furnished, everything looked old and tired.Of the kitchen units, one cupboard had a broken handle, dandling down, another the handle was broken off completely. Whilst there were plenty of plates, there were only 5 mugs and one was so badly chipped you couldn't use it. Of the kitcken equipment there was no bread or vegetable knife, and only a plastic tablecloth for the table. There is no 'welcome' pack , so you have to go straight out shopping.
The terrece of the apartment had 4 metal chairs (the apartment accomodated 5) and table, all peeling with paint. The floor needed a good scrub, and the 'white' wall needed repainting.
Around the pool, there were no sunbeds. Only rocking deck=chairs, where you could tip over backwards as my husband did. To get the sun on your back you had to lie on a towel on the concrete floor, very uncomfortable and unsatisfactory.
All of these things required long=term solutions so there was no point in complaining on site, but we have on our return ,to the agent. We were very disappointed and did not consider it good value for money, or that we could recommend it to any of our friends.
