After reading several reviews on Tripadvisor we decided to book a room at the Capotaormina for September. I have to say that it exceeded our expectations. We found the staff at the reception very professional and accommodating. We really enjoyed the stunning view from the terrace and made the most of it. almost every evening we had our drinks there refreshed by the breeze, The gorgeous pool and garden are private and well kept.
Food was another good point. We had a plentiful and tasty breakfast to start our days with and the restaurant had a great selection of food and the most amazing desserts ever
A big thank you to Fabrizio whose smile and politeness deserve 10 out of 10. He gave us invaluable tips about local restaurants and day trips. A very gentle and thoughtful chap who made our stay very special.

be aware that you are 20 to 30 minutes by walk ,very step, to down town taormina were all the action is
we drive there ,there is parking available also around the city
if next time we will stay up in the city

This hotel is truly amazing!! A great view on the sea from our room balcony. And on the terras you have a great view on mt. Etna! Front desk personel is very helpful and friendly. Only the room is little outdated they really need a fresh new morden design.
Pool and sea area are great too, you reach them by elevator and that's an amazing expirience!
They have a shuttle service to Taormina center and that's good only when we stayed the last back to the hotel was 20.30 that's little early when you have diner at 19.30 but there are taxi so we went back to the hotel by taxi.
We had diner up in Taormina city and we can recommend restaurant 'mama rosa' and very good is ' Granduca'.

Amazing location, pool area, beach and restaurant but bar quite expensive but seems to be an expensive town. courtesy bus is excellent. Beware if jellyfish in the sea swimming area! Rooms slightly poor considering price but sea views amazing and make up for this.. Defo recommend this hotel. Will be back.
