In early September 2011 my family and I spent two delightful weeks in the Residence Schuler - Apartment "C" which easily accommodates 6 adults. We were also travelling with 2 small children.

My first impression upon entry was the immaculate cleanliness and spaciousness of the superbly comfortable apartment.

Upon exiting onto the rear balcony handsomely equipped with outdoor eating facilities and colourful potted plants, I was rendered totally speechless.

The panorama unravelling before my astonished gaze was incredible - the sparkling waters of the Bay of Naxos dominated Mount Etna in all her majestic glory.

The Residence is conveniently located up an easily negotiable hill from the "Punto" Supermarket and the beautiful "Corso Umberto" - the main street, historial centre and site of the
evening "passeggiata".

Our host Claudio Schuler was kindness itself, always unobtrusively at hand to render advice and assistance. Our stay in the Residence Schuler proved to be everything we had dreamed of and much, much more! Thank you Claudio.

This is an ideal apartment - fully equipped for self catering and only a few minutes away from the grocery store and main pedestrian/shopping/entertainment area of Taormina if you prefer to dine out. The ocean and Mount Etna views from the apartment are amazing and Claudio the host is very helpful and can help you pick the apartment that best meets your needs. The apartments are well priced especially for being so central and with great views. We travelled with a 1.5 year old and the apartment was safe and big enough for him to run around in. Would definitely stay here again.

Residence Schuler was simply wonderful. We hired apt C (the largest). The views from the lounge, main bedroom and large terrace were simply spectacular; with wonderful vistas across the bay and towards Mt Etna, which we saw erupting orange lava into the night sky. The appartment was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable, providing everything you need for a family holiday. It`s location is also excellent, only a five minute walk from the historic centre of Taormina. There is also a handy supermarket nearby. The owner is friendly and very helpful and I can and am highly recommending this as a great value place to stay in one of most fascinating locations in Europe. Taormina is a simply amazing place with so much history, a wide range of great restaurants, shops and entertainment. And the cable car from the town to the beach opens up a wide range of great lidos to while away the hours. It was my fourth time in Sicily and this was definately the best. Its a fantastic place and the Schuler Residence is a great place at which to enjoy this incredible island.

Great location, clean, and they have lovely views from the terraces. Contain all necessary equipment to make your own food if you wish. Would definately stay here again.
