As all have said, a very stylish hotel with comfortable rooms, a great location, and very friendly owners and staff. However, I did not feel that this hotel was good value for the money (we paid the same rate here as I did at Villa Athena in Agrigento, a "leading small hotel of the world" and 5 star). In particular, there was mold in our bathroom and water pressure was poor, towels were of thin, poor quality and we were unable to get extras in the evening, hotel had posted policies about bringing in one's own food and beverage which just seemed tacky to me, and ice was unavailable (I know, it's an American thing, but in a 4 star at this price, this request should be accommodated). Also, room was very noisy with construction underway across the street. That said, the owners gave terrific tips and were very friendly and would recommend based on location.
