Caol Ishka is very special place. We stayed here for one week during our Sicily trip. People often estimate the place in relation with expectations they have.
So concerning Caol Ishka you will not find here: traditional hotel near the beach, lots of people at the pool and restaurant, simple food.
So what to expect? Very helpful and positive staff, charming landcsape design, minimalistic aesthetics (with a bit of glamour), calm and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect place for romantic escape.

This small boutique hotel has a good overall service and a friendly atmosphere. The rooms are designed carefully and have charm. location is very valid if you have a car, as it is 5 minutes away from the center but allows you to live the experience of being in the countryside.

very warm and charming hotel, very nice and helpful staff, owners of the hotel keep also an eye on the guests to help them having a special day in the nature around siracuse! big surprise that the kitchen of the hotel was of excellent quality! we will definitely return to that place.

We booked this hotel on the net. We knew it to be modern, quirky and unusual. We found the room designed to please the interior designer but with little thought to the occupants comfort. The pool was ok and the location fine. The food was a dissappointment when it was made out to be something special. I never leave anything on my plate but here I did. I cannot recommend the food at all/. Breakfast was adequate but unexciting for the price.
