We spent four nights in October at this delightful B&B. The rooms were lovely with a view over the water. Breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. You need to book a parking space, which is essential as cars are frequently towed away. The girl at reception was very knowledgeable and helpful. She made good recommendations and helped us to get the most out of our visit. If we come back to Syracuse we will definitely return to L'Approdo delle Sirene.

We spent 2 nights at the L'Approdo Delle Sirene on Ortygia Island in Siracusa. This is a wonderful B and B on the water. We watched the sunset from the lovely rooftop patio (wine in hand, of course!) Fabulous buffet breakfast in the glass enclosed rooftop porch again with a magnificent view. Flora and the rest of the staff were very helpful and Ortygia is an easy place to walk with lots of sites, shops, and restaurants within minutes. We did not have a car so this B and B served us well, being a short walk from the bus station. They even had laptop computers in the rooms for our use! Very modern facilities. Great value.

We stayed at L'Approdo delle Sirene for 3 nights. The B&B located on Ortigia Island close to historic sites. It has easy accessible parking. Good breakfast with fresh pastries, eggs, yogurts and coffee prepared to your order. Special ‘treat’ - breakfast served on the rooftop terrace with magnificent view! Friendly, accommodating stuff; we’ve been given excellent recommendations for dining and sites seeing. Good size room with flat screen TV and free internet access. Great place to stay.

We arrived in Siracusa and were greeted by the friendly staff at L'Approdo. The staff had helpful suggestions of where we should explore around the area and in neighboring towns and cities. The rooms were very nice and there is a nice terrace overlooking a beautiful dock. The location is amazing. Walking distance to everything on the island of Ortigia. Great experience. Highly recommend staying here!
