The Hotel Bellavista is slightly secluded from the rest of Siracusa and I should have known when there were no other keys being used as we were only one of a handful of guests. Our room was adequate and we had a small porch overlooking the top of the rest of the hotel but the dining room, which was billed as known for its vegetarian meals, was inadequate. The staff was friendly enough but if I were to return to Siracusa I would definitely pay more and stay on Ortigia which was quaint, beautiful town, but a nightmare if you need to find parking.
