Tucked away down Via Monfenera, a run down area of Palermo, lies a peaceful, clean, fairly well staffed, hotel, close to the university and hospital campus.
The main train station, and airport bus (8Euros) are just 15 mins walk.
The bathroom was very clean, modern, white tiled, with a good shower; there was a small kitchenette, with 4 burner gas stove/oven, fridge, again fairly well equipped; Italian cable TV, quiet air conditioning, and a very pleasant outdoor dining area, with free WiFi access.
The breakfast ....cheeses, ham, croissants, watermelon, yoghurt, etc, and fresh well made expresso/noisette, etc.
Overall, great value for money; would recommend without hesitation.
