Just finished two nights at this hotel. The hotel has a lovely balcony with a view of the city and a decently stocked bar on the lounge. Breakfast was nice on the terrace. Avoid the cold and rubbery eggs though. Service was good and staff always pleasant. Good price for Palermo and easy location to the train station. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to station as we had bicycles. There are no storage provisions at the hotel and we were directed to leave them in a dark corner of a local garage. Security of the bikes was a concern and added some severe anxiety about them during our stay. The bikes were intact however when we arrived to pick them up. The room was quite large. The lovely wooden floors could use a good scrubbing as my feet were blackened walking from the shower to the bed. The worst experience concerning our room was that it was directly underneath the kitchen and starting at 0600 there was a cacophony of noise that made it impossible to sleep. If you want to awaken that early on holiday, no problem, but given that Sicilian dinners typically run till 1030 pm (minimum), it is quite early. A different room or a noise canceling device would help the issue. As this was an inexpensive option perhaps you could invest in a set of earplugs.
