I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in January. I paid an average of 45 Euro a night so the hotel represented great value. Although the rooms are not huge, they are certainly not small by European standards. The breakfast is good as there is an assortment of Italian meats, cheeses and pastries. Free wifi in the lobby as well as a communal computer. Everyone has a different experience, but staff treated me well. I would recommend to anyone visiting Palermo.

very very shabby hotel, breakfast was fine if you want cake.no hot food whatsoever and none offered either. the bread was a little stale to say the least and the coffee was the worst i have ever had, little more than vending machine standard. the room was small and furniture was a touch shabby, the shower leaked badly if the jet wasnt on your body and the bacony lwas covered in cigarette ends and ash. no air con at all, staff unhelpful to say the least and just loved talking about you when they thought you couldnt understand what they were saying.security is a bit worrying as door needed several attempts to lock it and at night you could see through the gap in the frame to the hallway!! no tea/coffee in room, dreadful considering lesser hotels provide this as standard. i would avoid this place and it has put me off the hotel brand totally.

This should be a very very average 3 star hotel. The hotel is in a good location but thats about it.
Staff cant be bothered and are quite rude, they have no problems talking about you when they think you dont understand!!!!, The hotel and especially the rooms are very tatty, bits of concrete are missing from the balconies, everything which needs to be attached to a wall is at a jaunty angle - especially in the bathrooms. The air con doesnt work, I reported this twice, the first time I was told they dont allow it to be turned on till 7pm!!! the second time I was ignored, it didnt work once over 3 days!. There were footprints all over the bedroom wall - I didnt bother to ask why! and no tea or coffee in the rooms, even a Travelodge or a B and B has that!
The rooms and public areas are not cleaned to even an average standard and the bar in the hotel is actually the corridor to get from reception to the 2 very old, small and groaning lifts.

Breakfast is OK ish, avoid the coffee, got to be the worst I have ever tasted. If you like toast and cake then this is the breakfast for you. No hot food available but there is a plate of cheese and meats (god help the veggies as they are all on the same plate) all hot drinks are from a machine - nothing is fresh. There is no service and everthing is a bit of a scrap to get the last of something, as it may not be replaced.

All in all i would avoid this hotel and would only stay again if there really was no other choice. Not an enjoyable or relaxing place.

The hotel is well located, very clean and excellent staff service.
