A great base for wandering around Palermo & reasonably priced. Rooms were clean and the foyer reminded me of being in a scene from League of Gentlemen.

There were unusual pictures adorning rooms and lobby...........strange, like something from Del boys flat with sinister undertones, but great for just that, a base for exploring the town

Incredibly noisy hotel. Our rooms smelled of sewage and a suspiciously brown fluid was seeping up through the stickers laid over the drains on the bathroom floors. One particular room smelled overpowering and the air conditioner didn't work (it's cold in February). We went to ask for a different room but the surly man at the desk refused to do anything to assist. Fortunately, a more cheerful colleague was only too happy to give us a different room the following morning. Housekeeping staff tend to shout at each other from around seven am so don't expect a late lie in. Central location though but Palermo is pretty run down with rubbish strewn streets and dog mess everywhere.

The location of this hotel is great - a walking distance from the central station and some main attractions in the city. The second plus is that they keep it clean and the staff generally are kind.
The shortcomings - the furniture in the rooms is far from nice, the wardrobes smell and the beds in the twin rooms are narrow. The breakfast is the same every day.
All in all, if you need only a relatively cheap place to sleep, at a good location this is your hotel.

Ok hotel, on 3rd floor on Via Roma. Walking distance from Central Station and all attractions. Desk helpful, not exceptionally friendly. Main attraction is reasonable price.
