We had a difficult time finding this hotel but follow the signs, better than the GPS. The hotel overlooks the Mediterranian Sea and Palermo..What a great setting!!! After touring in Palermo and all the noice and cars, what a serene place to spend the evenings.!!. We sat on the terrace after dinner and swam in the rooftop pool....Rooms fine, not perfect.. But, good value for money and lovely surroundings. We didn't eat at the hotel so I don't know about the restaurant. But, breakfast was good. Nice selection of food.Definately worth the trouble to find it the first time. Second time easy..

We arrived in Palermo..drove the long way up the mountain to the hotel....alot of anticipation..once we checked in..we were entrenched in a once in a lifetime experience. Our room was facing the entire city of Palermo facing the sea..on the top of a mountain.with a balcony...absolutely beautiful. The staff was extemely helpful & pleasant. The food..oh the food..in the hotel's restaurant was exquisite..delicious & we left with an unopened bottle of red that we bought to take home with us..We will revisit this unique experience for sure

The hotel is outside Palermo downtown. Perfect for those who want to avoid big cities traffic jam. Very easy to take other cities exit, like Monreale. The views from the hotel are beatifull and the hotel facilities are above average.

We've just came back from a wonderful stay in Hotel Bel 3. Hotel is situated in such a wonderful panoromic location, travelling all around Sicilly you don't get a better view than this! For those who want just a restful holiday, you can just sit in your balcony facing a beautiful view of Palermo and enjoy some drinks in the sun shine.
We were a bit afraid about getting there after reading the reviews about some people finding it difficult to locate the place. Even it was our first experience on driving abroad much to our suprise it was very easy (we rented a car and used our Tomtom device).
Hotel stuff deserves a very high praise. They have been soooo wonderful and helpful, they made our stay very pleasant. Everyone at the reception speaks good English and do their best to help you with anything with all their hearts. Eventhough we were asking many questions and requiring some services they have all done their best and made us feel very welcomed. Pointing out good places to eat, beaches to visit, helping with directions, even trying to fix our Tomtom device! Never seen a sulking or unwilling face one bit. All very warm and lovely people!
Our room was lovely and got a lot of space. It was not luxurious but had all the necessary ammenities and most of all an amazing view. We found the room and the hotel very clean. Beds and towels changed everyday.
We never tried the hotel's restaurant so i couldn't comment on it. Breakfast was fine. Italians don't care much about breakfast like lunch or dinner. So it was limited and repetitive but more than enough for us. Waiters did their best to replace stuff.
We enjoyed the swimming facilities. There are two pools. One very shallow facing a lovely view so you can just sit down and relax on a hot day. The other one is a smallish deeper pool. Eventhough it is a bit limited for families with children we enjoy the fact that kids were not allowed in the pool area. I would think it is a safety matter as the shallow pool is located at the edge of a drop.
Hotel's car park is a bit small so it gets jammed up but again hotel staff do their best to organise it well.
I think this hotel made our stay very pleasant and we could see other people were very happy about it too. The location is very good if you have a car. I couldn't say how it would be without one because the city is a bit stretched out.
We would recommend to ask the staff about good restaurants to eat as we were very pleased with their recommendations.
Mondello Beach, Corleone, Enna and Cefalu are great places to visit around.
You get a free internet access which is very fast and reachable all around the hotel. Drinks and services are very reasonably priced. Afterall it is an extraordinarily good value for what you pay. I would definitely go back to Hotel Bel3.
