This hotel is well located close to the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean, double glazing reduced road noise but ear plugs were needed to sleep.
Wi-fi was available but intermittently did not work- staff fixed this after a time.
We had hired a car and parked without incident in the side street (for free), otherwise the hotel has parking available for 15 euro per night. Driving in Sicily is somewhat hair raising though- and probably should be avoid unless you are familiar with left hand drive!
Breakfast was OK. Pretty good crossaints. Yoghurt, average processed cheese and ham and sausages, scrambled eggs; cakes and bread were available too. The fruit was old and of a poor quality.

This was a reliable place to stay and pleasantly clean compared to the filth of Palermo, the staff too were friendly and helpful.

Located on Via Roma. Next to Palermo Centrale train station and bus station on piazza Cesare ,is very good for touring and sightseeing in Palermo. Numerous good restaurants, shops and farmacies next to the hotel.The buffet breakfast could be a little better. Room confortable with everything you need. Everybody were nice and helpful.

Very good location, clean & airy rooms,good breakfast,well knowledged & friendly staff. Bathroom could do with a change however clean and spacious.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Del Centro and were disappointed with the size of the room; mostly disappointed in the size of the bathroom.

Positives: Great location on Via Roma (about a 5 minute walk from the train and bus stations and walking distance to many sights), free internet (slow at times but mostly ok), friendly staff, breakfast included.

Negatives: Small room and bathroom. While sitting on the toilet my face was literally in the sink. The shower was very uncomfortable because of the size (I'm 5'7", 130 lbs and it was uncomfortable). To be fair, I think some of the other rooms are not this small. It seemed like the room next to us was significantly bigger. Also, the walls are paper thin; it was impossilbe to sleep in past 7 am. The only other negative is that they don't have any english language channels but I guess this isn't a big deal.

I would recommend this hotel only if you're able to book a bigger room (or room with a bigger bathroom) and if you're a very heavy sleeper that can sleep in very noisy conditions.
