We arrived in Palermo at midnight by bus. The hotel is located at the edge of the city center, unfortunately on the other one as the bus station. With our map and the help of a kind women we got to the hotel in 30 minutes.

The hotel is a classical building as shown on the photos. Our room was on the top level which was an attic room. It's size and interior was around average. I expected a bit more from Hilton, still it was very good and clean, but I missed something special.

The staff were very polite and helpful. Although the breakfast was delicious and the portions were big enough, their coffee was terrible... I didn't believe that so bad coffee can be served in Italy...

We would definitely go back to this hotel, but next time I will choose tea for breakfast...

we spent one night in palermo and this hotel was excellent away from the bustle but not too far and in a nice area of the city. the bus to the airport is very convenient and not far from the hotel. the room was clean and although they gave us a room i believe in the attic, the windows could open. although we did not have breakfast included we really enjoyed all the pastries in town.

We stayed for 2 nights in November 2011. The Hotel is difficult to find on the bus unless you ask bus driver to drop you off at the address. Although Bus 101 (which was extremely convenient) stops only 100 meters from the hotel, the bus passes the backside of the Hotel.

The room was extremely noisy, and the carpet and walls stained. The rooms felt and looked like staying in a cheap run down hotel. However, the breakfast room was this Hotel's saving grace - stunning. Old world beautiful, and breakfast was wonderful with a large variety and Sicialian specialities.

HHonors Godl-status was not acknowledged by the hotel. There was no room upgrade or free use of WiFi access.

The location was very convenient - the bus to the airport departs every 30 minutes, was inexpensive and easy to use.

We have stayed in numerous Hilton properties throughout Italy and Sicily, and this particular property was a disappointment - other than location and breakfast.

I highly recommend a stay at the Hilton. Being away from the old part of town is a must with less noise and more modern facilities yet still within a short walk to the city centre. Great big bathroom with a bath and the bed wasn't too bad. Only down side is the rubbish smell comin through the window and no air con if staying in the summer
