Affordable and centrally located hotel with friendly and helpful staff.
Short walk from hotel to shopping and restaurants. The hotel needs renovation, seemed tired all over.

Room: Had rooms in 4th floor, weiw to the port. The ventilation in the rooms did not work, very poor air quality. The cleaning seemed satisfactory, but the windows needed washing. Hard to see out at times because of the sun and the dew on the windows because of poor ventilation. The size of the rooms were ok, same with the beds. Bathroom was old fashioned but clean.

Breakfast was good, satisfactory range. Fantastic views of the harbor from the balcony. Had dinner one evening in the Restaurant, STAY AWAY!!. The food was dry and boring, very poor quality.

The hotel is located on the waterfront, where ferries and cruise ships dock. The street outside the hotel is very busy, a lot of noise.

Taxi to airport EUR 45, -

Nice hotel. Older but well kept. Excellent Breakfast Served with a great harbor view. No complaints. A couple of car rentals close by. A fair walk to the city center but not too far. I was not disappointed with whole facility. (only 30 min total free wifi) Shower could have been better but it worked. The ladies at the front desk were more than helpful and courteous.

just back from sicily, home sweet home back to my bayswater arms pub whie enjoying a fresh lager i cannot forget the president hotel in palermo, within the best hotels in my trip to sicily were ia took some 25 collegues for a short incentive.

i would most certainly stay there again, walking distance from the shopping malls, the staff was outstandigly friendly and helpful and last but not least theyr fantastic rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of the sea and palermo skyline were we had our dinners and breakfast. on the same floor we also had juicy drinls thank to the rumanian particularely frendly barmaid.

finally our rooms, seeemd to me renoeated and clean, mostly on the fifth floor wih outstanding sea view!

Booked via Kayak to spend one night in Palermo, so we didn't have a glue about this hotel. It's nice, design is right from 80's, and I don't think it was ever renovated, the room was not big and designed as for 3*, but ok, the bathroom is for 3*, also. But after we had a breakfast on the very top of the building with spectacular view to the sea and staff (with same 80's design) — I loved it. The location is good, pretty close to most of important places.
