The hotel is situated in an area from which it is very easy to reach many of Palermo's museum, chruches etc.
However: the rooms are worn out, no lift, the typical Italians brekafast.
As the hotel is situated in one of the places of Palermo where everybody goes for partying you can on late night to early morning noise and music until the morning hours six days a week.
It has tot be said the rooms have noise-isolated windowd but even they cannot resist the noise. So drink a lot or take your earplugs with you or better still party along.
I wikk certainly not return to this plac nor recommended it!
Oh yes: free wifi in the rooms and you have tot carrry your bags tot the room!

Pleasant hotel in a handy but quiet location, close to good restaurants, not far from the station or markets. Rooms are airy, high ceilings, with good towels, beds, toiletries, etc. TV and shower dated but work fine. Breakfast usual Italian fare. Staff helpful.

Hotel is located very close to center of Palermo, thus ideal to visit it.
It's in an old house, partially renewed in its interior.
Room was somewhat old-fashion, however clean and confortable. Air conditioned (necessary in august) was working quite well.
People at the desk were very kind and helpful.

The price, compared to the quality and accounting for Palermo was quite good.

Just as a final note, the hotel-reception is at the third floor (rooms may be even upper), and there is a narrow and steep staircase, that caused us a little difficulty due to my heavy and large baggage.

The Letizia hotel is a charming hotel conveniently located in the centre of Palermo. The rooms are large, stylish and comfortable. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel is very reasonable with very pleasent helpful staff.
The breakfast isn't really worth getting up for but there are numerous places to enjoy breakfast in the vicinity of the hotel. The only thing that I hadn't been prepared for was the chiming of the church bells at 7am and 8am every morning. Definately would recommend this hotel as many other hotels seem to be quite run down. I'd also recommend Insolia a regional white wine.
