“Satisfied!”

I was very happy of this hotel, Palermo is a very nice city and the location is wonderful few steps from the centre and the harbour.
The rooms was comfortable and the breakfast exceptional. I will sure come back in this hotel during my next trip in Palermo.
The rooms are well isolated, even if close to the centre, it is possible to sleep quietly during the night.

“Centrally located”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2011

I stayed here for a total of 3 nights starting and ending a Sicilian vacation. The hotel is centrally located and you can easily walk to all the tourist sites. There is no Wi-Fi and only one computer available off the lobby. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was a traditional European type with a few bread stuffs, cereal, cheese, juice and coffee. Our first room, 116 was very comfortable with a long bench running past it's windows and a bathroom/shower that easily accommodated us 6ft tall people. Our second double room was a bit smaller, and the shower/bathroom much smaller. All in all, I'd say 3 nights in Palermo is too much, but this hotel was adequate in being clean and quiet in a good location.

“Good location!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 October 2011

The hotel is located within walking distance to most of the tourist sites in Palermo. Lots of decent eateries located around the area as well. The hotel is on a very busy side street, what we could call an alley in the states, with lots of traffic. You literally step out of the door of the hotel into the street. No sidewalk and drivers roaring through are constantly blowing their horns to warn pedestrians. You gotta love Europe.... The hotel itself was nicely maintained and the staff was friendly enough. No Wifi in the hotel, or I should say, there was Wifi, just not for the guests. One internet connected PC in the lobby for everyone to use. Rooms clean and reasonably sized for Europe, but the bathrooms seem to be added on, at least in some rooms anyway and boy were they small. That has to be the smallest shower I have ever tried to squeeze into. You literally could not raise you elbows or bend over to clean you feet. It got the job done! Not a deal breaker for sure but some might want a little better. The breakfast buffet was the worst I have tired so far. A fruit drink, cereal and some rolls. You will be eating lunch early.

“Very nice staff, great location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2011

Hotel Posta is a basic hotel with a very nice staff and average rooms. I stayed at the hotel with a group of students and the staff was very accommodating and understanding. The walls are a bit thin but the overall quality of the stay was good. The hot water often runs out so try to time showers at unpopular times. The location is great and the hotel is located on a quiet street. The breakfast offered was very good and has a choice of a lot of nice pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereals, and juice.

“Clean, basic but overpriced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 September 2009

Overall, the hotel was a nice experience, the staff especially was very very friendly and are always ready to help. It has not been built for a hotel, as one can expect, rather the rooms have been converted into a hotel from 2 old houses. But the hotel is overpriced and too costly, presumably because it is very central, and you can reach everywhere on foot.
