This is an excellent 3-star hotel, well situated near the business center of the small town, Santa Marina, and its hydrofoil and ferry port. Other towns and hamlets of the island are easily accessible from hotel. Rooms at the Hotel Bellavista, many of which face the sea, are clean and simply but comfortably appointed. Proprietors are pleasant and accommodating without being intrusive. Compared with the three-star hotels in Umbria and Tuscany at which we stayed, Hotel Bellavista in Santa Marina, Island of Salina, is head-and-shoulders above them in all respects.
