I recently stayed for two weeks at the this hotel on a business trip. The hotel itself was in a perfect location; close to shops and restaurants. The hotel looks pretty nice from the outside, and when you walk in the lobby is just as nice. However the room I stayed in was in need of updates. I was there with several other people on this trip, and their rooms varied in upgrades. A couple of the rooms had upgraded flat screen TVs, while I had an old CRT. Not that big of a deal, as I wasn't there to watch TV. The walls seemed pretty bare. But the room was clean. The A/C was turned off, and unfortunately the weather outside was pretty warm so I had to keep my window open which allowed several mosquito's into the room and left me with many bites. The staff would not turn the AC on as they said AC season was over. Europe can be frustrating. My door also had a broken door knob which would pull off from the outside if you tried to close the door that way. It still locked, but I was certainly concerned about it.
Our rate included the breakfast which was your typical Italian hotel breakfast spread; meats, cheese, cereal, hard boiled eggs. It had the typical Sicilian Blood Orange juice as well. The two ladies who worked there most often soon recognized us and had our variety of coffee orders ready for us when we arrived.
The front desk staff was also very friendly. Overall, the hotel is nice, its kind of basic in many ways, but it was quiet and clean. I would stay there again.
