We stayed here for 1 night when we arrived in Cagliari. We were very pleased with the hotel. The staff were effiicient and welcoming, the room comfortable, clean and quiet. Would use this hotel again definitely.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Cagliari for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful, modern and clean. The bathroom was nice and with good toiletries. The breakfast was excellent! The staff was professional and friendly. The hotel is localized in an industrial area, and a car is essential. The hotel has a free private parking. We recommend Holiday Inn Cagliari!

We´ve just spent 7 days in Cagliari at the Holiday Inn and were quite satisfied by our trip. First of all, what people have said in past reviews is absolutely true, taxis are either REALLY expensive on this island, or they rip you off. They changed us 15 euros from the airport to the hotel (5 min ride) and when we asked the driver if we had heard right this high price he showed us a sign in his car reading it was the cost of all airport transfers. The green façade of the hotel doesn´t look that great but once you enter you will get a different feel. The staff was very nice and helpful. As the hotel is in an industrial zone with nothing to do around, we asked one of the restaurant employees where the nearest supermarket was and she drew us a well explained map which was much appreciated. The supermarket turned out to be 15 minutes away by foot, and as previously mentionned in other comments, we did see NEEDLES on the small streets going to it... I can´t imagine walking on those streets alone at night as nothing is around. Breakfast we found very good, hams, omelettes, ricotta cheese, large choice of cereals, cakes, fruits, fresh croissants, nespresso-type machines, lots of teas... Until 10 o´clock which forced us to get up every morning. We tried the restaurant at lunch and at dinner, which was quite good. I would advice the melon and ham, they are very generous on the ham and it is good quality. The pasta are OK, seem like they´re bought from the supermarket... They change a few meals of the day everyday, but they stay VERY similar. The atmosphere was good and quiet. In the main hall and bar area, there was always good music playing. The rooms with their dark parquet are very nice, bathroom medium size with nice bathtub. Nice big "Luxe" shower gel included in the bathroom. The pool closes at 7 pm which is a bit early and is mostly in the shade during the afternoon. My boyfriend and I had rented a scooter because obviously if you don´t have a rental car, don´t even think about staying at this hotel. It is very modern, clean and warm, if you don´t mind being far from the centre and the beach. It is right by the motorway but with the windows closed you do not hear it what so ever. Very quiet hotel.

We were staying at the hotel for 3 nights before going to Villasimius. The hotel itself is very nice and modern. It is very clean and is probably excellent for business travellers. We arrived at the hotel in the evening and were greeted by friendly reception staff, unfortunately we did not find the bar staff pleasant at all. Its not often that I criticise hotel staff as they have a thankless job.
Our room was very clean and a good size, not a lot of room for clothes etc but this is because it is mainly used by business travellers. The hotel is situated near an industrial estate but they have camouflaged it well. There is a small bar but the staff are not very keen to serve you a drink. We waited ages to be served and the hotel was deserted. Breakfast is lovely and there is plenty of choice. The breakfast room overlooks the hotel's pool which looks very pleasant. One piece of advice, if you are using the taxis in Cagliari, before you get in ask how much your trip will cost. We were charged from 10 to 15 euro for the journey into the town centre. They even take different routes. I hate being ripped off!!!! No 2 taxis took the same route or charged the same price. We walked into city in the morning but it is quite a walk and part of it is busy traffic.
All in all a good hotel if you look out for the money grabbing taxi drivers. We would stay here again, it is nice.
